Softube Chandler Limited Germanium Compressor – Effects Forum

Gang, I need your help. Firstly, I must confess that I don’t have golden ears when it comes to mixing. I can’t always hear compression or EQ moves when they’re towards the subtler side of things. But since the Softube Chandler Limited Germanium Compressor is on sale until Saturday (tomorrow for me) I thought I’d check it out, since people have raved about it.

I’m having a hard time hearing what’s so special about it, and where it excels. Can someone point me in the direction of what I should be listening for and what material I should try it on so that it can shine?
