Was skimming through task manager, and noticed it. Looked it up online, and learned it is some type of audio enhancement device on Windows, though the description was vague to me.
My main concern isn’t necessarily CPU/processing performance, but hearing true. When I’m recording, mixing, mastering, I want to know I’m hearing as raw as possible. If this WavesSysSvc64 is doing background EQing etc., that gives me pause.
Anyone have a clearer understanding of what it’s doing in the background?
