I wrote myself a script: github.com/pljones/ns_kit7-sfz2/blob/main/_td-27kv2_scripts/to_velocity.sh
There’s some other wonders in the same repo, like github.com/pljones/ns_kit7-sfz2/blob/main/_td-27kv2_scripts/to_ranges.sh
Eventually, the low level mapping looks like this (for some snare drum – there’s a <group> header with the key=… opcode):
