Sampling old VST, how? (in: Instruments)

This is something I do quite often. What you want is called an Auto Sampler

There are multiple options and some have been around for a long time

What you do is load it up, then load your plugin inside of it. Load the preset you want and tell the plugin what key range you want to sample, and what velocity’s and then hit start. It will do it’s thing and then spit out a preset in a variety of formats and a folder full of samples

Sample Robot is a good one. It’s expensive however.
