Yes you have to sign up for the Roland Cloud, install the very buggy Roland Cloud Manager and make sure you let it phone home once a month even if you own a lifetime key

If you have pianoteq you have no need for it

Roland has some pretty amazing digital Piano technology in both the Super Natural Piano engine and the modeling they do and in instruments like the RD2000

Unfortunately this is neither of those, it’s really no better than the pianos already inside of Zenology and the SRX expansions that were already inside of the Roland Cloud

In fact I am 99% certain they just used those and put some impulse responses after them for the position of the lid and the room sounds in some type of convolution

It would be OK if you didn’t have anything else, but if you have literally anything else there is just no reason to consider it
