The RK-TRS-X finally is a convenient solution to the polarity problem we have with the two TRS-MIDI standards A and B.

The widely used adapters from mini-jack to standard MIDI have a problem: there is no true standard for their polarity. The adapter cables from TRS mini-jack to DIN5 MIDI are usually either type A or B. For several years we have had these two standards that are not compatible – until now!

Now, with the RK-TRS-X, we have a nice little adapter that allows you to choose the correct polarity by simply providing both at the same time! Plug the RK-TRS-X into a standard MIDI in/out/thru and use any TRS 3.5mm audio cable to connect your two devices.
