Removing listing of a non existent file from project. – Bitwig Forum

It is the list of used files. So the only way of removing entries from that list is by not using them in the project.
The red dot says that the project contains a reference to the file but it does not find it on disc. So to remove that entry, you have to remove the clip, sampler whatever from the project, that uses this sample (or replace the sample in all places where it’s used).

So how you describe it, there are 2 possibilities:
1. There is still a reference in the project somewhere you just did not see. (maybe some nested sampler, launcher clip, whatever …)
2. There is a bug and the sample is listed even though the project does not reference it.

So I’d suggest looking closely again if you can find the reference. If not, send the project to Bitwig support and ask whether they find the hidden reference or if it’s a bug they can fix.

(Additional feature request: for each sample in the list, it would be nice to be able to see a list of all places(clips/samplers) where the sample is used in the project. Also so that one could jump to those places by clicking them.)
