I’m pretty new to most studio stuff but trying to learn the basic functions as best as I can. One thing that I seem to completely suck at is using the automation lanes and drawing in automation (I use Cubase but from what I understand most DAWs have pretty similar fuctionality). When I try to draw in the automation I want it almost always is a cluster-F, I end up adding too many points and the lines get all zig zagged in the wrong ways.
