Really flat colours in Italy

I start quite low opacity and at a high viewing percentage. I hadn’t seen the need for feathering as most of the time I’m using dodge in the background.
I also found that dodging is a great way of bringing stuff out of the shadows and ignoring other stuff in the shadows. It is quite addictive now I know how to use the brush this way.
