Re: Azure sql connction error

I’ve pbi report connected to Azure sql instance (using different login details) than my windows login

When at desktop….report refresh fine ..no problem 

once it’s published …, a data source credential  error occurs,

This SQL instance don’t need a gateway to be installed 

its cloud based but I suspect because I’m using different credintals to connect to it ..is the issue 

I publish reports using my normal user account 

at desktop I establish connection using Microsoft account option and then I use specific DB user name ….etc.
