Raspberry Pi 4 power supply: amps needed

Pi 4 needs at least 3.5 amps and possibly more when peripherals are connected . On some distros there is a control for making the Pi give full output on the USB outputs this often cures any stuttering issues . However the new Pi 5 psu offers 5.5amp sounding this will also solve any lack of power supply issues . I am also convinced that swapping the psu for an LPSU of 3amp or above puts this player combination on to another level . But to be clear this is just my view and the LPSU even used will likely cost way more than the Pi .
