Question – FLASH MAGISK IN TWRP OP12 | Page 3
why would you have a broken init_boot.img if you followed all the instructions? the init_boot.img for .840 is the same for all devices except the CN version meaning EU/GLO/NA/IN, if you think there is something wrong with your patched init_boot.img just download it again without patching and patch it again, I really do not understand why are you complicating things so much, and perhaps this time use fastboot command to flash the init_boot.img with the correct command, I even personalized the command for you with the name of your patched init_boot.img but you decided to patch it through TWRP and flas to both slots, that is completely unnecessary, because both slots do not exist at the same time on the device, this device is an Virtual A/B device which means both slots only exist while it is doing an OTA, then it gets wiped, it is non existent, there is no need to flash both slots for no reason, flashing with fastboot command, will flash the active slot with the command I gave you originally.
the init_boot.img attached is stock not patched, it is recommended to patch it on your own, it can be different if someone else patch it for you, and it can cause trouble, and also make sure you are using the same device to patch it, do not patch it on a different device.
