I’m running a new installation of Qt VS Tools and Visual Studio hangs up often. This is the last message I saw:
“Visual Studio stopped responding for 7 seconds. Disabling the extension Qt Visual Studio Tools 3.4.1 might help”
I was running a very simple new test application built on QtWidgetsApplication.

When I disabled the extension and the hang up did disappear – but I really want to use the Tools
Here is the version info:
VS 17.14.13 (August 2025)
Qt Visual Studio Tools 3.4.1

Any idea what’s going on and how to fix it?
