power – Running a Raspberry Pi (especially 1 B+) at 1A?

I am planning a robotics project using an old Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+ for camera-based control and OpenCV tasks. I am currently restricted to a 5V/1A power source and intend to use a Pi Camera Module v2 at rather high CPU load. Given this setup, is 1A sufficient “headroom” to prevent under-voltage brownouts when the camera and CPU peak simultaneously? Additionally, would a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W be a more reliable choice for this specific power envelope?
The official recommendations are 5V/2A for the 1 B+ and 2.4A for the Zero 2 W, I believe these are generally very broad.

Thank you so much!
