An experienced user _could_ know that they want a triangle waveform running at 1 bar with a phase offset of 90º to eff up the delay line or oscillator frequency, but how many of those users will set it up before creating the connection? That’s what I’m trying to understand.

For some folks, setting up the source signal prior to connecting it is how they operate. Maybe in a live situation you might _have_ to otherwise you risk your audience hearing you ‘get the source signal right’ and be foolis…
