Overview

This is a parametric OpenSCAD model for a slanted case designed to hold your filament swatches. The unique, angled slots allow for easy viewing and quick access to your filament samples, making it perfect for organizing and displaying your collection.

The design is fully customizable. By editing the variables in the OpenSCAD file, you can easily adapt the case to hold any number of swatches and match your desired dimensions.

Print Instructions:

  • Filament: Use any standard filament.
  • Infill: 10-15% is recommended for a lightweight but strong case.
  • Supports: No supports are needed for this design.
  • Nozzle: A standard 0.4mm nozzle is suitable.
  • Resolution: 0.2mm layer height is recommended.

 

How to Use:

  1. Open the .scad file in OpenSCAD.
  2. Adjust the variables in the “Global Settings” and “Case Dimensions” sections to match the number and size of your swatches.
  3. Render the model (F6) and export it as an STL file (File > Export > Export as STL).
  4. Slice and print.
