Non desktop stands for 5 inch monitors good idea? (in: Getting Started (AKA…)

My own experience tells me that it’s almost always better to place monitors on stands, as opposed to the desktop itself. I’d add an important caveat as well. You want to make sure that the stands you’re using, don’t cause rattling noises from the hardware.

I would have them positioned so that you can get the best sweet spot, and the widest imaging as possible. Make sure that each monitor is equal distance away from your head during playback. And you should be good to go. :tu:
