No MIDI output from MDrumLeveler (Reaper) – MeldaProduction Forum

I’m trying to use MDrumLever in Reaper to trigger a MIDI instrument but I can’t get it to output MIDI. Here’s what I’m doing:

I have a track with an audio drum loop on it. I have MDrumLeveler inserted as an effect. In the attached image you can see my settings in MDrumLeveler. I have MIDI output enabled. I have ReaControlMIDI inserted after MDrumLeveler and the log section shows no MIDI data coming from MDrumLeveler (see other attached image).

What am I doing wrong? (In case it’s relevant, this is the demo version)
