“New Vertical/Horizontal Document Group” in Visual Studio 2026?

In Visual Studio 2022, it was possible to split tabs vertically/horizontally by going into Window -> New Vertical/Horizontal Document Group, as seen in the screenshot below. As you can see, I’ve created two tabs with some sample text, and when I went ahead and clicked New Vertical Document Group, I can now see those two tabs side-by-side.

Unfortunately, in Visual Studio 2026, I’m unable to find this option under the Window menu.

(Menu Items below are simply recent files, which I won’t show since they’re related to the codebase.)

Can anyone explain how can I split tabs in Visual Studio 2026, considering that those two aforementioned menu items are seemingly gone or moved?
