Kevin Shields changes secret weapons as fast as his guitar tech finds new pedals for him to play with. 🙂 However, he’s most famous for misusing mundane gear in extreme, non-textbook ways (He’s famous for doing Reverse reverb → fuzz → EQ → delay (wrong by studio standards, right for MBV))., so a lot of his “secret weapons” are not boutique oddities so much as misunderstood or new stuff that his guitar tech finds for him. 🙂
