If not, it’s another “usefull” idiosyncrazy. From the begining I didn’t understand that Bitwig decided to spin off their own wavetable format, despite the fact that many leading WT Synths accept Wav Files with 2048 samples long wavetable slots, which by now is settled as a “quasi standard”. Serums does so, Tone2 Icarus, Vital, and I bet many others as well.
I hope it’s not a lock-in thing to make it hard for customers to use stuff from other synths or use bitwig wts in serum or Icarus.
