Neve introduces Elements range and 8424E analogue console

Neve has introduced Neve Elements, a new range of software-controlled analogue processors, and the 8424E, a 24-channel resettable analogue console.

Neve Elements is a standalone range of software-controlled analogue processors that combine the Neve sound with digital control. The processors can be controlled via the DAW through the Element Control Plugin, with every Element setting recallable as part of the session itself, or independently via the Neve Elements App.

Elements brings the console circuitry of the 88R EQ, 1084 EQ and 88R Dynamics into compact eight-channel audio processors, allowing users to choose EQ and Dynamics.

Built on the 8424’s 80-series sound, the 8424E is a resettable 24-channel console, available with any combination of EQ and Dynamics through the Neve Elements range.

The E-Controller gives users access to every connected Element in their studio. The 8424E, with an E-Controller, forms a complete integrated and flexible console. The E-Controller contains two digitally controlled VCA compressors, which can be placed across users’ mixbus, groups, or recording path, while retaining the 500-series smart-routing capability and allowing instant recall of mixbus compression settings.

The Elements Upstand Screen is a high-resolution TFT touchscreen mounted to the console upstand. Connected Elements appear on it automatically, providing users with detailed control and visual feedback for every processor.

The controller’s modular design means that users can choose what is right for their studio, whether that’s a single 1073OPX or a full complement of EQ and Dynamics across every channel.
