Magnetar is a polyphonic drone and sound-sculpture synthesizer, built for sounds that evolve over time rather than note-by-note playing. It features:
Voices: six always-running DRONE voices (tuned in cents or harmonic ratios) and a LEAD voice with up to 12 voices.
Modulation: two step sequencers and four drawable MSEGs, feeding a modulation matrix.
Tuning: microtonal, with 14 built-in scales.
Effects: a full effects rack.
Presets: 150 factory presets.
Formats: VST3, AU and standalone, on macOS and Windows.
