Need tools for a text based psycle tracker format (that I created in python) (in: DSP and Plugin Devel…)

I have to go get a cable for my hard drive but I should have with the help of grok a text based pyscle tracker file that I can turn back into the original format. I was thinking there may be some programming benefits to using text and was wanting to know if there were any text based tools that I could incorporate into pyscle now that I can convert text files back and forth.

I will have to come back to test it but I figure failing once would not stop it from happening.
