Musescore playback distorted after changing sample rate of sound card

Hi,

I’m running Musescore version MuseScore-Studio-4.3.2.241630831-x86_64 and I have a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 sound card. I was playing around with sample rates yesterday, and after changing it and then reverting back to the default (48Khz), Musescore’s playback appears to be permanently distorted. It plays back at a much higher tempo and pitch. So far I’ve tried:

Clean reinstallation of Musescore;
Resetting Musescore to it’s default settings;
Installing an older version of Musescore.

The weird thing is that when I use a different audio output, such as my headphones, this issue does not apply to the other audio source, only my sound card. Additionally, when I export to mp3, the recording sounds fine on my sound card so the issue seems to be the playback feature.

Any help would be appreciated.
