Musescore 4.4.1 Too Slow | MuseScore

Since I have upgraded to the current version of Musescore 4.4.1 the software is too slow. I can add a note and it may take 10-15 seconds for the note to appear on the screen. Everything seems to be very slow and cumbersome. Adding chords to the guitar part seems to take a long time as well. I have been having these problems ever since upgrading to version 4.

I am running windows 11 on a AMD Ryzen 5 3400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.70 GHz with 12 GB of RAM.

I cannot upload the diagnostics zip file because it is too large.

Is anyone else seeing this slowdown in functionality in version 4?
