MuLab OS – MuTools Forum

First off, just wanted to say that this is just an open/loose idea. I’m not expecting anything from this. It’s just been on my mind for months now, so for better or worse, I thought I’d respectfully share it:

The idea is MuLab being an “operating system” of sorts, or a dedicated software system. Where a computer would boot up to MuLab and nothing else. All the computer’s resources would go directly into it. No interference with other programs.

The idea came about from looking at the Akai MPCs, noticing how they have a dedicated software system linked to their hardware. And thinking it would be cool to have a MuLab-based hardware device. Of course, I know that would be very heavy undertaking. – Having a dedicated “operating system” of sorts could turn any laptop/desktop into a makeshift dedicated MuLab hardware device.

Again, I’m not expecting anything from this. I know this would be a very heavy task to carry out, but I thought it would be a cool and interesting idea to share.
