MuLab 9.6.7 Alpha – Page 4 – MuTools Forum
Currently MuLab racks are limited to 6 slots. No more, no less.
Also applying more complex routings like side-chaining or using multi-input/output plugins may be a bit unhandy via the “Setup Aux In/Out”.
Now the new racks become plain MUX Modular patches.
Whether a MUX patch is regarded a rack or not, and thus whether it’s to be included in the rack desk, simply is the existence of at least one Rack Slot module.
Thanks to this new modularity, racks can now have any number of slots instead of the fixed 6.
Also thanks to this new rack modularity, racks are fully editable from modular side, which is handy when you want to use more complex rack routing like side-chain, multi-output synths, multi-input effects etc.
On top of that you also get control over the rack desk height which makes it possible to have larger rack faders & meters, and view more slots.
Curious for your thoughts & feelings about this.
