MSoundFactory Essentials Automatic Download? – MeldaProduction Forum

Hi, I just opened MSF and checked which libraries/products I had installed and MSF appeared to download MSF Essentials automatically; version 2, I believe. The reason I’m writing is because I think that these kinds of downloads should not be automatic.

Yes, it’s convenient but then again me pushing a button to confirm isn’t that far ‘out of my way’. Besides, I feel anxious about closing programs while they’re updating. I just wanted to check real fast but instead felt beholden to the download bar.

Maybe this is just me or maybe a continuation of a previous download but, if it is indeed automatic, please consider implementing a ‘new version is available. download?’ dialog of some kind. It is something I prefer and maybe others as well. Thank you.
