MSDplugins Captain Fuzz
Captain Fuzz is a plugin clone of the Boss FZ-3 Fuzz.
A small yellow box from 1997 that never got the boutique hype, but it sat on John Frusciante’s pedalboard on the early Californication tour. It’s a fuzz that’s fuzzy everywhere: even with the knob down it roars, and turned up it sputters and sings like a broken speaker.
FUZZ, TONE, LEVEL. Dig in and it explodes, back off and it growls.
1x to 16x resolution, save and delete presets, resizable window (100 % is the real pedal size). VST3 and standalone for Windows 64-bit.
MSDplugins is an independent developer, not affiliated with or endorsed by Roland, Boss or John Frusciante. Names are used only to describe the pedal this plugin is modeled on.
