In the example image I posted above, I could have done the same thing by splitting the voices into two channels (which may require changing settings in the VST to change how it handles MIDI channels, or to use multiple instances of the VST, but then I need to remember to re-duplicate the VST across tracks again if I need to change settings in the VST…) then using a calculator to know what pitch bend range values to draw with a pencil tool, and redoing the drawing or laboriously modifying it if…
