monco Kerf (Lite)
Kerf Lite — the slicer, now inside your DAW.
A separate, free product built from the same slicing engine: import a sample, auto-detect or hand-draw slice boundaries right on the waveform, and play them back over MIDI in Trigger or Sampler mode — as a VST3 instrument in Studio One, Ableton, Cubase, or any other VST3 host. No sequencer, no effects chain — just the slicer, kept simple.
Kerf Lite (Beta) — VST3.
Installs straight into your system’s VST3 folder. Rescan plugins in your DAW afterwards and it’ll show up as an instrument.
What’s in the beta.
Click a slice to select it, drag its edges to resize, double-click empty waveform to create one.
Scroll to zoom, middle-click drag to pan the waveform.
Trigger and Sampler MIDI modes, same as Kerf’s browser app.
Sample rate and bit depth handled automatically, whatever your project uses.
Your sample and slices are saved inside your DAW project, not just referenced.
It’s a beta — expect rough edges, and please report anything that sounds wrong.
