Mod’ed Cry Baby’s a-squealing. (in: Guitars)

I recently bought a Cry Baby wah (CGB95) that was heavily modified by Ruckus Audio.

When I plug it into my hi-z audio input (UAD Apollo) it squeals like it’s in some sort of feedback loop, and the pitch of the squeal is variable by the pedal position. In some settings, I can’t hear it in the toe forward position. I’ve tried putting some pedals after it, and two different guitars (Steinberger and Strandberg) but the only thing I’ve found that stops it is if I put it in the effects loo…
