Midi Sustain Bug – OXI Instruments Forum

I’m on firmware 3.4.1. Last night I noticed that held MIDI notes no longer sustain for the length that I define on the grid. They seem to sustain a little past 1 step maximum. I tested this on 3 different MIDI devices. Very strange and if it’s a bug, it’s likely in one of the later firmware releases (since I never noticed this behavior before). This behavior persisted in CHORD, POLY, and MONO modes.

I could not find a setting in the config that would cause this behavior. I tried setting all notes to 90+ gate, TIE, or LEGATO, but nothing seemed to get any notes to hold past 2 steps. LFO’s were disabled, ARP was off, etc. If I played notes from my MIDI keyboard into the OXI, then the behavior is no longer present, so it must be something in the steps.

Anyone else noticing this? I’m considering a full reformat or will try downgrading the firmware next.
