MIDI Notes not sustaining beyond end of clips (in: Bitwig)

Damn, finding this thread is so disappointing. Thread is 9 years old, and still we can put a quarter note a sixteenth before loop end, and have it play out with its intended length when the loop is repeated. I started using sequencers in 1990 (Cubase on Atari) and never have I experienced a sequncer with this infuriating issue – neither hardware nor software.
I LOVE Bitwig, but this… – I have no words…
