midi input | MuseScore

I have a Kawai ES110 connected via midi to usb. I’m running Windows 10. In the MuseScore Properties-> I/O when I select the Midi Input drop down box it shows two lines. Top line is No device and the next line down is USB Midi Interface. If I click on USB device the box reverts to being blank. The Midi Output box correctly selects my USB Midi Interface and it remains in the box.

When I click on an existing note in a score the note sounds through my keyboard but I cannot input a note from my midi keyboard.

Any suggestions please would be welcome.
