MIDI exporting incorrectly? – Logic Pro
Hey,
I am trying to export a logicx file to midi–it was originally imported from a midi anyway–but when I do so, certain alignment or synchronization issues are caused that were not present in either the logicx or original midi file.
I’ve tried to get a similar view for each screenshot. You can see how the logicx file has everything in sync, and the midi is just a mess.
However, the entire midi tracks are not misaligned, rather the problem seems to be that certain notes are not being written to the exported midi and the following notes are being moved up to fill the gap, causing the misalignment. And I have also noticed some notes that were dropped completely without any misalignment.
Why is this happening & what can I try to fix it?
