Melda installer deleted all 64-bit and VST3 plugins (in: MeldaProduction)

I had all kinds of VST3 plugins in the default VST3 folder, and all are gone except ones from Analog Obsession (great, free plugins). I reinstalled all my Waves plugins, and they show up in the Plugin Manager, but anything else will not show up. It’s definitely a bit problem (as in 32-bit vs. 64-bit plugins, I believe). It’s scanning the right folders, but some don’t show up and others were deleted. I’ve been a programmer for over 50 years, and I can’t figure it out.
