I can’t think of too many situations where you actually need a different chain for exporting, but your suggestion brings one thing to mind: a vinyl master.
You could have a special node called “vinyl”, and that would tap off the audio from whereever you place it in the chain, to some special vinyl pre-mastering plugins (an extra deesser or side low cut filter, as well as a milder limiter), And when it comes time to export the vinyl master, the app knows that it should be taking that “vin…
