If you can deal with a subscription model and the idiotic “Roland Cloud Manager” software the Roland Cloud is also a phenomenal option.

Roland’s early Rompler was the D50, it could also do VA and blend the two together. This alongside of the Korg M1 is an awesome combo

Then they came out with a more advanced Rompler in the JV line in the early 1990s which then became the XV and then the phantom line in the early 2000s this goes head to head with the Triton rather nicely and the two compliment…
