linux – CentOS GoReplay gor does not catch any input traffic
On machine A, I start gor as a root user, and redirect it to machine B. However, I noticed tcpdump on B does not catch anything. Then I replace --output-http with --output-stdout, but it prints nothing either(I guess that means it does not catch any packet)
./gor --input-raw 10.107.2.5:9091 --output-stdout
Interface: eth0 . BPF Filter: ((tcp dst port 9091) and (dst host 10.107.2.5 or dst host [an ipv6 address]))
2025/09/26 10:23:36 [PPID 25022 and PID 4584] Version:1.3.0
and on this machine, the following command shows lots of http packages:
tcpdump -i eth0 port 9091 -AA
(eth0 has address 10.107.2.5)
The http server is running and listening at 9091 port.
I think tcpdump and gor should have the same behavior.
I also tried:
./gor --input-raw 10.107.2.5:9091 --input-raw-engine libpcap --output-stdout
traffic is http.
