Linnstrument bending technique (in: Roger Linn Design)

Hi everyone, newcomer to the Linnstrument here.

My plan is to mainly use the Linnstrument for expressive leads, so I expect to use it a lot for long pitch slides and such.
I’ve noticed that when sliding between pads on the x-axis, I get quite a bit of stepping in the pitch bends, such that it’s more like a piano glissando than a smooth portamento effect. I’m not so fond of this, and I was quite concerned if I was going to be able to use the Linnstrument like I expected.
