Let’s talk about plugin latency (in: Effects)

Earlier on, when in production, I would often experience as a vocalist, that as I got deeper into the process and more plugins were added, the latency would rise to an unusual amount. In Ableton I would just flatten/freeze, but it has still been an issue for me, also because it seemed this was just part of using plugins.

Since I switched to Bitwig (and Linux), where each track has a visible value for plugin latency, I have started to become increasingly aware of plugin latency.
