HYPERCRATE is a sample library manager that plays every sound you own in your project’s key and tempo.
Key and tempo. Set a root key and a BPM once. Everything you audition is repitched and time-stretched to match before you hear it. What you drag into your DAW is the file you heard, or the original if you’d rather.
Search. Names, folders and tags, plus Describe: type “dusty lofi drum loop” and HYPERCRATE ranks your library by how the audio sounds. Find Similar does the same from a sample you like.
SUMMON. A hotkey opens the search palette over the top of your DAW. Type, arrow through the results in your key and tempo, drag straight onto the timeline. Sidecar docks a slim browser to either edge of the screen beside your DAW.
Analysis. Key, BPM, type, loudness and tags, all on your machine. Nothing about your library leaves your computer. The models ship in the installer, and similarity indexing can use your GPU where it is faster.
Layer Deck. Stack sounds and they play in sync, with volume, low cut, sidechain pump and retrigger per lane, and a sixteen-step sequencer for one-shots. Slice a loop and add a single cell. Save the stack as a Kit, drag it out as one mixed WAV or as separate lanes.
Quick FX. Sub, saturation, punch, reverse reverb and pump on any sample, non-destructive.
DAW plug-ins. Analyzer picks up your project’s key, Sync locks auditions to the transport, Notes plays MIDI auditions through an instrument in your DAW. VST3 and AU, included in the installer.
Audio to MIDI. Flip a loop to MIDI, edit the notes, drag the clip in.
Your files stay put. HYPERCRATE mirrors your folders and never moves or renames anything. Reorganise on disk and it follows, keeping key, BPM, tags and favourites. Find duplicates hides the copies rather than deleting them.
