kubuntu – Cannot SSH into Raspberry Pi Zero with headless USB

I have installed the 32bit Rasbian OS Lite from the Rasbperry Imager.

I then went into the boot drive of the SD card and;

Modified the config.txt by adding the dtoverlay=dwc2.

Modified the cmdline.txt by adding modules-load=dwc2,g_ether with proper spacing.

After this I placed the SD card into the Raspberry Pi Zero and connected the second USB-C port to my Kubuntu Laptop.

I went into the Connection settings and saw the Wired Connection 2 was connected. I went to the IPv4 tab and changed the method to “Shared with other computers”

However after all this doing the “ssh [email protected]” command in my terminal returns with “could not resolve hostname raspberrypi.local: name or service not known”
