Knob editor colour change doesn't stick. (in: MuTools)

I can change knob colours in the knob editor but the change won’t apply (except for changing the shade/brightness) when I try to apply it, and the colour reverts back to white even if I save red or yellow as a new preset. So at the moment I’m stuck with monochrome knobs or shades of colours which seem have been arbitrarily chosen by mutools. What am i doing wrong? Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?
