KM Packaging Unveils 4G Low Seal Initiation Lidding Film

KM Packaging has announced the release of K-Peel 4G, a new mono PET lidding film specification designed for versatile food packaging applications.

K-Peel 4G is engineered to provide a strong, clean peel for APET and rPET trays, even those with challenging sealing surfaces, and is suitable for ambient, chilled, or frozen applications.

• Low seal initiation point: clean peels from 110 °C and 0.3 seconds dwell time
• Seals through contamination and compatible with all PET-based trays (including PET-lined board trays and PET-lacquered foils)
• Available in two gauges: 21 µm and 25 µm
• Anti-fog properties
• Ovenable (OM7 migration testing compliant)
• Supports potential film thickness reduction for sustainability efforts
