kirchhoff EQ – M1 Macbook Air thermal issues (in: Bitwig)

Kirchhoff EQ is my go to plugin normally and on the CPU side inside Bitwig it’s pretty light. However once i start getting 3 or 4 of them running Activity monitor shows each instance as using a huge chunk of Mac CPU and the normally ‘barely gets warm’ M1 really starts getting some old style Intel type heat underneath. I’m running 1.7.1 of Kirchhoff and my Mac is on OS 15. This is the same inside BW5 and BW6.
Anyone else with these same heat issues?
