I spent some time with it tonight and I definitely agree with your findings…cool EQ. I like dialing the comp with the needle just moving, but then found a couple of presets that were a lot more aggressive and sounded cool.
Maybe I want a little more 3d magic from the “tube”…i dunno. I hear what it does giving a little mid bump, and like it. I need to read the manual tonight.
I saw a Youtube comment from Kazrog two years ago where they said “tube rolling”…
