Jungle safaris to stall in core areas of tiger reserves from July 1

According to the directive issued by the National Tiger Conservation Authority, jungle safaris in the core areas of Pench, Bor and Umred Karhandla will close down from July 1 till further directive.

The directive was issued to allow unhindered breeding and movement of wild animals during the monsoon season.

However, jungle safari will be permitted in a limited capacity in the buffer regions, which can be accessed from the Surewani and Sillari gates of Pench Tiger Reserve. Tourists can book a safari for these routes in offline mode.
